Thank you to Walmart and General Mills for sponsoring today's post (and for supporting #BTFE).
I'm all about the Box Tops for Education this fall. Last year, it was so much fun collecting them at our elementary school and helping count and send them in. We earned over $4,200 for our school, and our goal is even higher this year! So I'm always on the lookout for ways to collect even more, and with the new back to school season, you have the chance to earn 5 times as many as usual with Bonus Box Tops on General Mills products.
Start by heading over to your local Walmart and look for the big cereal display. Each package has FIVE Box Tops instead of just ONE. Great deal! On large packages like cereal, you'll find a big certificate to cut out–it's worth .40 for your school. On smaller packages, look closely for the certificate, because it may be printed very small–don't miss it! You'll find the Bonus Box Tops on a lot more than just cereal. Look on Fiber One Bars, Chex Mix, Go Gurt, Old El Paso Tortillas, Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, and lots more.
Our school loves Box Tops for Education because they make it really easy for us to earn cash to spend on anything the school needs. In fact, over 80,000 K-8 school participate in the program, making it one of America's largest school earning loyalty programs. We keep a big chart in the school lobby showing how many Box Tops each class has collected–in the spirit of healthy competition–and it's very motivating for the kids to see who's ahead. The top class earns a Wii party at the end of the year.
