Disclosure: I received a canvas print to review; all opinions are my own. This CanvasPop Giveaway is provided by CanvasPop, and I have included affiliate links in this post.
Empty walls. I tell myself they're part of living a minimalist lifestyle, but actually? It's more about not knowing what to hang and making the time to decorate. My desire is to fill our home with memories of our time together, but like many, I get busy and it doesn't get done. Well, it's time! This photo I took at the Library of Congress earlier this year has been a favorite of mine all year, so it was time to enjoy it.
Landscapes, architecture and travel photos are timeless and a great way to reflect on our memories together. I love that CanvasPop offers a text option. You can use their Word Art Maker to make your own text art or add text to a favorite photo. If my Library of Congress photo had any blank space, it would have been the better spot for text, so I had to add a box to include my family's favorite quote from Thomas Jefferson. Check out the gallery for more ideas!
What can you print?
CanvasPop has some really cool options–like ordering straight from Instagram, Facebook, or your iPhone for single images or a whole gallery. Love this! It saves time and all the hemming & hawing that keeps you from enjoying your photo memories (or is that just me?). CanvasPop can handle almost any size image and will make sure you're only printing the best quality images.
My architectural photo came from my point-and-shoot camera, and I was thrilled with the quality of my canvas, especially the level of detail on the back. There's a little note from the person who made the canvas, and it included two hooks & nails to be sure you have what you need to hang it right away. And super thoughtful–little rubber stoppers on the bottom of the canvas to lay between the canvas and your wall. Easy peasy!
