When I was a kid, my dad would take us to the movies on a Sunday afternoon. Then he would fall asleep in the theater. I hated it. Fast forward to now and…I do it too! It makes me feel so bad, but when I sit down for a couple of hours in a comfortable chair in the dark, I go right to sleep. I have seen the beginning of Kubo and the Two Strings, Storks, The Secret Life of Pets, and The Jungle Book. In the past few years, I have even slept through two Captain America movies–loud, action-packed superhero movies! And then I can't follow the story in the next one. It's terrible!
Thankfully, there's DVD Netflix. Rather than spend the money for an expensive nap, I can watch (or rewatch) movies at home. If you haven't made it out to the theater much this year, start a FREE one month trial and start getting caught up on all the movies you missed. We tend to go out to the movies with the whole family, so when there is a non-family movie out that my husband and I want to see, it's rare that we see it right away. The only reason we saw Arrival last year was because the kids went to school on Veterans Day, but my husband got the holiday!
