I was very sick over the weekend., so sick that the thought of food and cooking was beyond me. I couldn’t even stand the smell. Now I’m successfully eating soup (I made my own Super Easy Chicken Soup to be sure it was gluten-free), and I’m feeding everyone else simple convenience foods–how unlike me. But that’s what happens when Mommy gets sick…
Sunday–I had chicken soup, they had tacos.
Meatless Monday! The family’s having Spinach & Feta Pasta Salad, but I’m having more soup.
Tuesday–They’re having fish sticks and homemade fries, I’m betting on soup.
Wednesday–Pulled Pork Sandwiches in the slow cooker, buns (I’ll use GF bread), salad
Thursday–Chicken, baked potatoes, green beans
Friday–Baked Mac & Cheese Casserole (made with gluten-free ziti), broccoli
Saturday–BBQing with our neighbors. The kids will have hot dogs, and the adults will have steak; grilled veggies, salad.
