As we're starting the new school year, I approach it like it's January. It's a great time to start new habits and try new things. Since I've been in a rut with my meals lately, I've picked up some books from the library and looked through my magazines for simple (but new!) recipes to try out over the next few weeks. I'm eager to find some quick breakfast options for the kids since I'm getting all three out the door this year, plus some new lunch ideas to liven up the 15 lunches I'm packing each week. I'll share what works! How often do you try new recipes?
Sunday–BBQ'd hamburgers and corn with our neighbors.
Meatless Monday–Italian Spinach Pie, gluten-free cornbread muffins
Tuesday–I'm going out to dinner with friends, so I'm making a glutenous lasagna and garlic bread for my family.
Wednesday– Bistro Chicken with Spinach (from a library book, Good Housekeeping Best One-Dish Meals)
Thursday–Slow Cooker Broccoli & Beef, rice noodles
Friday–Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches (I use GF bread instead of a bun), salad, corn
Saturday–Creamy Lemon-Pesto Chicken & Linguine (using GF flour and rice spaghetti), leftover salad
Every week, you can find meal plans, inspiration, and lots of recipes over at OrgJunkie.
