One of the grocery-saving strategies I shared with you in my March vlog series was to “use it up.” Often, between sales and stockpiling, you end up with a lot of ingredients in your pantry or freezer. Once in a while, you need to brainstorm your meal plan around those items, and use them up! I took a look at what we had, made my list, and shopped only for the groceries I'd need to fill in the blanks:
Meatless Monday! Feta & Spinach Omelets, Rosemary Potatoes, fresh fruit
Tuesday Easy Baked Tilapia, quinoa, broccoli
Wednesday Slow Cooker Asian Braised Pork, brown rice
Thursday Sausage & Pesto Pita Pizzas, salad
Friday Garlic Lime Chicken, asparagus, rice
Saturday Chicken & Spinach Enchiladas, black beans
