If you've just realized that Thanksgiving is next week and your Halloween decorations are still up (ahem), here’s a quick and easy project you can do to get in the spirit without spending too much time or any money:
I’m thankful for bloggers, especially those who provide FREE printables for readers who don’t have the time, inclination, or energy to make incredible crafts. This is Thanksgiving decor on a dime! Look how easy this is:
- Take an empty 5×7 or 8×10 frame that most of us have in the house, or just temporarily replace something that’s already in a frame (it’s only two weeks, right?).
- Print out a FREE printable at home (a dime's worth of paper and ink) and put it in the frame.
- You're done!
Here are a few of my favorite FREE Thanksgiving printables from around the blogosphere:
Thanksgiving Subway Art
Subway art has been all over the blogs this year, but it can be very time-consuming. I love this simple printable from Jessica at Craftily Ever After. Print an 8×10 for yourself and get the same effect in an instant!
Get Your Pie On
Bev at FlamingoToes has this hilarious printable that comes in various colors, so you can pick one to match your decor. This would look great in a black frame to add a little whimsy to your dining room.
Keep Calm and Cranberry On
The Keep Calm posters have also been all over the blogs, and the many variations make me smile. Take a look at how Jessica at Craftily Ever After changes her frames in the kitchen to match each season.
