There are only 42 days left in the school year, as my son has figured out. It's 90 degrees here today, the community pool has just been cleaned and filled, and the kids are itching for summer already. What happened to spring? I admit–I'm thinking ahead to summer, too. The season will run smoother when I plan ahead for:
- how we'll work our schedule around swim team (including my volunteering as head of concessions)
- how we'll eat healthy and stay on budget with late nights & laziness
- finding free/low-cost activities I can do with older kids (two 7yo's, a 9 and a 10)
What's on your mind about the summer?
What do you expect to be challenging?
