Mexican Beef Stew

There's nothing like comfort food in the winter.  This hearty recipe for Mexican beef stew is a take on traditional beef stew with added flavors and textures.


•  Stew beef •  All purpose flour •  Salt and black pepper •  Vegetable or canola oil •  Russet potatoes •  Medium carrots •  Onion

In a bowl or plastic bag, toss the stew beef with the flour, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the oil. Then, in batches to avoid crowding, brown the meat on all sides.

Step 2

Remove the meat and add to the slow cooker.
