Sausage and Cream Cheese Pinwheels

These delicious baked pinwheels with sausage and cream cheese are excellent for appetizers, lunch, and snacking.


- bulk pork sausage - diced red pepper - cream cheese - crescent rolls - kosher or sea salt - black pepper - green onion, sliced

In a skillet, preheat the skillet to medium-high and then crumble the sausage into the pan.

Step 1

Season with kosher salt and black pepper. Cook until it is no longer pink, approximately 7 minutes.

Step 2

Add in the diced red pepper and cook until the pepper is tender, about another 2 – 3 minutes.

Step 3

Add in the cream cheese, stirring until ingredients are thoroughly blended. Turn off heat.

Step 4

Prepare your baking sheet by either lining it with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Open each of the crescent roll tubes.

Step 5

Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into 4 rectangles total. Seal the perforations with your fingers.

Step 6

Gently press out the crescent roll dough into rectangles that are about 6”x4” and 1/2” thick.
