This recipe for Homemade Chicken Tenders is so much healthier than fast-food chicken. If you've never tried making them yourself, it's pretty easy!
Homemade Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
Instructions
I've tried baking these flat on a baking sheet, but sometimes the bread crumb coating sticks to the pan, so I've started doing it this way where I use a metal cooling rack on top of a sheet pan. Then I just put the cooling rack in the dishwasher to clean it afterward.
When I have the time or some extra help (like when my mom visits), I like to make a huge batch (5 pounds' worth) at once. They freeze really well, and then you have breaded chicken to make Chicken Parmesan or other meals. These also taste great in a sub roll with Caesar dressing and romaine lettuce, or with spaghetti sauce and shredded mozzarella. These Homemade Chicken Tenders are so versatile!

My family would go crazy for these! I definitely need to make a batch for the freezer next time my local grocery store has chicken tenders on sale. I love the idea of eating them with romaine and Caesar dressing!
