Cranberry Mustard Dip for Holiday Appetizers

With all the parties and potlucks happening this month, you want to spend your time relaxing and enjoying yourself, not stressing out about what to bring. I have a great idea for you: combine store-bought holiday appetizers with something homemade. It’s a compromise that works for me, plus it saves a lot of time and stress during this very busy month.

I picked up Rich’s SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls at Walmart and then used just three ingredients to make a delicious Cranberry Mustard Dip. It’s tastes great with these baked spring rolls, but it’s also great for dipping chicken tenders or pork kebabs. It’s a simple way to create Holiday Appetizers to please a crowd.

While the spring rolls are baking, it takes just a minute to to combine cranberry sauce with mustard and brown sugar (which cuts the acid in the cranberry and mustard). Baking gets the wrappers nice and crispy, so if you’re carrying these out to a party, wrap the serving dish with foil to keep them warm until you arrive.

We liked these flavors so much that my husband suggested we try it in the crockpot with a pork roast–great idea! All three of my kids liked it, too, and they don’t eat cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving, so that was a surprise to me.

I love the tip about covering them with foil to keep them warm. Plus, I totally have an obsession with cranberries so your 3 ingredient dip sounds amazing! #client
