Need a quick & easy party decoration? We had a small birthday party this past weekend for my son (his 10th!), so my girls and I put together this Easy Balloon Garland.
Not a DIY person? I get it. But this is really easy. You can do this, and it looks so cute once it’s up.
Make an Easy Balloon Garland
This couldn’t be easier, really! Just pick up a few packages of balloons (we got ours at the Dollar Tree) and a needle & thread.
Blow them up so that they’re about the same size. One of my 7-year-olds can blow up balloons, and the other cannot, which led to lots of balloons shooting around the room and giggling.
Thread the needle, then string the balloons onto the thread by passing the needle through each balloon past the knot in each one.
We managed to do this without popping a single balloon. I was very impressed.
You’ll need to move the balloons down the thread to space them out evenly (how’d that pesky one get out of line?).
Use a piece of masking tape to hang the thread on each side of the room.
Voila! A super cute and frugal Easy Balloon Garland.
This is pretty basic, but for a simple party decoration, it’s a no-brainer. If you want to get fancy, here are more balloon garlands.

It’s not difficult, but it does use more materials. Once it’s done you can display it every time there’s a birthday. Score!
