I like to put them into bakery boxes if I’m gifting them on your own. If you are making cookie trays or tins you can include some along with the cookies! They make a nice addition and are a sweet, indulgent, touch. They’re always the first thing to get grabbed off the dessert table!

Here’s what you’ll need to make this easy truffle recipe:

Remember how I mentioned that this was a 3 ingredient holiday candy recipe? That’s right, just three simple ingredients will come together to make these delicious treats.

You will need semisweet chocolate chips, heavy cream, and ground espresso beans! You can also keep a few beans whole so that you can top the truffles with them if you’d like.

How to make these mocha truffles:

This is a really simple and easy truffle recipe. The most work you have to do is melting the chocolate together for these truffles. If you have kids in the house they might like to help form and coat the truffles!

In a medium-sized pan, combine semisweet chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat, mix until you achieve a smooth consistency.

Pour mixture into a parchment lined loaf pan.

Allow to sit in refrigerator for 1 hour or until mixture is solid.

With a cookie scoop, form balls from the mixture (refreeze if truffle begins to melt).

Roll in ground espresso.

Keep in fridge until ready to serve. Add beans to top for a nice look.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup ground espresso beans

Instructions
