Valentine’s Day is different this year! I miss the days when my little ones and I would attend Valentines Day playdates and parties. And I really miss seeing my friends in person!
I made up some printable Valentine cards FREE to share with you! I am attaching each to an inexpensive little gift and plan to drop them off at my friends’ doors as a little surprise.
I have had friends drop off a little goody for my birthday and it makes my day! I want to do the same for them for Valentine’s Day.
Why include a tiny Valentine gift?
You don’t have to, of course. But I wanted to show how easy it is to let your friends know how important they are to you, especially during this time while we’re all stuck inside not socializing in person.
Everyone likes getting a little goody, right?
Think of some tiny Valentine gifts that don’t cost much. You may even already have them in your house! If you need more ideas, here’s a list of 25 Valentine’s Day gifts under $10.
Valentines Day gifts under $2
- Valentine Cake Mix Cookies
- cute notepad from Dollar Tree
- your favorite type of pen (break up a set)
- facial mask (I’ve seen singles at CVS, or you can break up a set)
- purse-sized hand lotion
- stickers
- a DIY paper Valentine garland
- lip balm
- tea bags
- candy
How should I wrap Valentines Day gifts for friends?
Don’t overthink it! It’s totally okay to just tie the Valentine or tag onto the pen or notebook. But it’s also easy to reuse a gift bag you have at home.
If you’re sharing candy or baked treats like Mice Krispie Treats, just use a zipper bag from the kitchen. It will still look super cute with your printed Valentine.
Printable Valentines for Friends
When you download the Friend Valentine Cards printable, it will save to your computer as a PDF. Then, you can print as many as you would like.
Use white cardstock when you print so that the Valentines will be thicker than regular printer paper. This also makes it strong enough for ribbon or twine if you punch a hole to use them as gift tags.
Tired of buying printer ink? I switched to HP Instant Ink two years ago and love it! I’m spending less than ever, and I don’t have to think about it any more (that’s priceless).
