First you will need to boil the potatoes in salted water until they're cooked. Usually about 15 minutes depending on the potatoes and the size of your chunks!

Drain the potatoes and move to a serving bowl. Dump in the ranch dressing and toss everything gently. Be gentle or you'll end up with ranch mashed potatoes instead!

Next we will add in the bacon, green onions, and grated cheese. Give everything another gentle toss and then you are ready to serve.

You can put this into the refrigerator to chill for a few hours or you can serve it warm. It's delicious either way!

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs red potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 green onions, trimmed and sliced (both white and green parts)
  • 3/4 cup Ranch dressing
  • 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Boil potatoes in salted water until cooked, about 15 minutes.
  • Drain potatoes and move to serving bowl.
  • Add ranch and toss gently.
  • Add bacon, green onions, and grated cheese and toss again.
  • Serve either warm or chilled.
