What happens at a Kids Club crafting session?

Each Michaels Kids Club session is structrued so that you can accompany your kiddos while they do one of two crafts. It’s usually a kit that has all the pieces and parts that they need to make something.

Each one is different and they’re sometimes seasonal so it will depend on the time of year and what the store has going on!

The crafts take anywhere from 15 – 30 minutes so you should make sure to give yourself plenty of time, don’t show up at 12 noon and expect to be able to participate!

Once you are done with your craft you can go! You don’t have to stay for the full 2 hour window, it’s meant to be open for that time so that people can come and go when it’s convenient.

Are there any other places where I can take my kids for crafting and hands on activities?

If you like taking your kids to do hands on type activities you might also enjoy taking them to the Lowe’s Kids Workshops. They’re more building related and fun for kids who want a really useful final product!

Another great option is Home Depot Kids Workshops. They’re similar to the Lowe’s workshops in that you are building something. It’s a great way for kids to blow off steam, interact with other kids, and learn a skill in the process!
