What’s the best way to peel and chop garlic?
Fresh garlic is one of those crazy things that just always seems to make life difficult in the kitchen. Here are my best tips for making the peeling and chopping easier:
- Peel the outer papery skin away and separate the cloves.
- Peel the cloves themselves as well.
- The best place to start is by slicing the clove in half so you have a nice flat surface to chop from.
- Now you can cut to desired thickness and chop!
- The more finely chopped the garlic the more flavor it will impart to your dishes.
