How to make crock pot pork chops with mushroom soup:
This is a recipe for pork chops in a mushroom sauce, you kind of can’t do it without the mushrooms. I understand if you are not a mushroom fan or if you have picky eaters at home. You can easily fish the pork chops out of the sauce without getting any of the “chunks” if you need to serve them to a picky eater.
If that won’t do, you can try making this with chopped carrots, onion, and celery and some cream of chicken soup instead. I’ve never done it but I’d be willing to bet the results would be pretty similar if you absolutely can’t stand the though of the mushrooms!
You will see in the step by step process photos below that this really is an easy recipe to prepare, check it out and once you’ve made it a time or two you won’t even need the recipe. It’s very simple and has become my favorite way to make pork chops so that they’re not dried out or chewy!
Add the pork chops in a single layer to the slow cooker.
Dump the mushrooms on top of the pork chops.
Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the pork chops and mushrooms.
Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 6-8 hours.
Serve over rice, stuffing, or with your choice of sides. I like to pair these with some salad mix when I need to get some easy veggies into our diets!
