Is this easy fruit salad good for parties?

Everyone loves this easy fruit salad at parties and potlucks. If you are dieting or watching what you eat, this is a great recipe to take with you to parties and family gatherings.

I like that this recipe is healthy and I can be sure to have something I'm able to eat on my Weight Watchers plan.

It's also nice to have something allergy friendly on hand when I'm heading to a potluck where it's possible there will be things I can't eat!

Can I prepare this fruit salad in advance?

For the best presentation, do not add the strawberries to the salad until right before serving. Otherwise, the lighter-colored fruits will absorb their bright red color.

To prevent browning, slice and add kiwi to the bowl right before serving, as well. Since this can be whipped up in about 20 minutes you don't need too much time to prepare. Give it a bit to chill and you're all set!

How to cut kiwi:

  • First you need to cut off the ends of the kiwi, make sure that you've cut through the white bits.
  • Next use a spoon to slide around the outside edge of the flesh of the kiwi between the skin and the flesh.
  • Once you work the whole way around the kiwi you'll be able to slide out the fruit.
  • Now you can cut the kiwi into the perfectly sized shapes and sizes you need!
