Can I prepare this fruit salad in advance?

For the best presentation, do not add the strawberries to the salad until right before serving. Otherwise, the lighter-colored fruits will absorb their bright red color.

To prevent browning, slice and add kiwi to the bowl right before serving, as well. Since this can be whipped up in about 20 minutes you don’t need too much time to prepare. Give it a bit to chill and you’re all set!

How to cut kiwi:

  • First you need to cut off the ends of the kiwi, make sure that you’ve cut through the white bits.
  • Next use a spoon to slide around the outside edge of the flesh of the kiwi between the skin and the flesh.
  • Once you work the whole way around the kiwi you’ll be able to slide out the fruit.
  • Now you can cut the kiwi into the perfectly sized shapes and sizes you need!
