One of the main reasons I don’t do more crafting is that it’s not super budget friendly. The great thing about Dollar Tree crafts is that they are really inexpensive.

That means you can enjoy crafting even if you are trying to stick to a strict budget. Paying off debt doesn’t always leave a lot of room frivolous spending, I get that.

How much will it cost to make this pool noodle firework craft?

Some of these items you might have on hand. In that case the price will be less than my estimate. If you have to buy all of the items on this list you would be looking at about $15 in supply cost for this particular craft.

You can easily reduce the cost by utilizing things that you already have at home. Substitute similar items for things you have around the house already and you’ll see how cost effective it is to craft with items you find at the Dollar Tree!

How to make this Dollar Tree Craft:

  1. Measure, mark and cut, with serrated knife, one 8”, one 10” and one 12” section of pool noodle.  Either two red and one blue, two blue and one red or three of the same color. Make sure to have an adult cut the pool noodles with the serrated knife.
  2. Cut patriotic decorative papers with paper trimmer, apply adhesive to back and wrap around pool noodle.  Use red papers on blue pool noodle and blue papers on red pool noodle. Secure by burnishing the edges together with your fingernail.
  3. Punch six 2” circles from decorative yellow paper and three 1” stars from plain yellow paper.  Attach three stars to three circles with adhesive runner.
