BLT tortilla rollups

These pinwheels are a perfect party appetizer, or snack idea. Made with a mixture of cream cheese and mayonnaise, with dry ranch mix for an undeniable flavor. Topped with bacon pieces, tomato, and lettuce.

Prep Time 15 minutes
Chill Time 2 hours
Total Time 2 hours 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 oz packet dry ranch seasoning
  • 2.5 oz package real bacon pieces
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, finely chopped
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes, and chop the lettuce. You want the pieces to be small, so they roll easily and don’t fall apart once cut.
  2. Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, and bacon to a bowl, and mix well.
  3. Add ¼ of the mixture onto each tortilla, and spread to the edges.
  4. Sprinkle tomato and lettuce over each tortilla.
  5. Roll the tortilla up, then wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours (this makes slicing easier).
  6. Remove from refrigerator, and cut into 1-inch sections, discarding the ends.*

Notes

*The ends can be snacked on by you, because they’re too good not to eat!

Hello, I’m wondering, can you substitute cream cheese for sour cream ? Or what else, cream cheese is not a healthy choice for me. Thank you !

There are lots of great options for pinwheel spreads--I like hummus the best. But that may not work with the BLT flavors? This post has a list of alternatives to cream cheese: https://moneywisemoms.com/pinwheel-recipes-without-cream-cheese/
