How to make my bite sized gingerbread recipe:

This recipe is relatively simple. The kids can have fun helping out with it as well. If you have little ones who like to bake, this is a great recipe to have them help with, it’s fun to decorate the cookies and since it’s a quick recipe you don’t have to worry about keeping them entertained!

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Mix dark brown sugar, molasses and spices in the bowl of a mixer with paddle attachment (or with hand mixer).
  3. Add in the butter, and mix for about 1 minute. 
  4. Add in flour and baking soda, and while mixing, add the egg. 
  5. Grease a square 9×9 pan with the nonstick spray. Press dough into the pan evenly. Top with sprinkles, if using.
  6. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean. 
  7. Let cool and remove from pan. Cut into bite size pieces.

  • 2 cups dark brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons clove
  • 1 ½ sticks of butter
  • 1 egg
