This easy pizza frittata is the answer we’ve all been looking for. It’s loaded with great flavors, can be paired with an easy salad or veggie side dish, and everyone loves when I make it.
What is a frittata?
Frittatas are traditionally Italian and they’re similar to an omelette or crustless quiche.
They’re usually egg based and then have additional ingredients added like meats, cheeses, or veggies. You can make them as savory and dinner worthy as you like!
Can I top this with other pizza toppings?
I’m sharing how we like to make this recipe but you can just top it with your favorite pizza toppings if these aren’t your favorites!
If you have picky eaters this is a great recipe because you can customize it for their tastes. Add some sausage, leave off the mushrooms, whatever it takes to make everyone happy!!
Here’s what you’ll need to make a pizza frittata:
There’s nothing crazy happening here. This is a pretty simple recipe to make and that means it’s made with pretty standard and simple ingredients.
Most of these things are probably already on hand in your refrigerator or pantry. Be sure to check there before you head to the store to do your shopping!
- browned ground beef or sausage
- mozzarella cheese
- ketchup
- heavy cream
- eggs
- dried oregano
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- salt and pepper
- cayenne pepper
- pizza toppings like mushrooms, pepperoni slices, black olives, extra cheese, etc.
- vegetable oil/shortening
How to make an easy pizza frittata:
Brown your beef or sausage in a skillet with a little oil in the bottom over medium high heat. Drain, and the set the meat aside.
Grease a 9 inch pie pan with vegetable shortening.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the eggs and cream first, and then stir in the spices and ketchup.
Add half of the shredded mozzarella to this mixture and the ground beef and stir until evenly mixed.
Now pour the frittata batter into the greased pan and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.
Place your favorite toppings on top of the cheese bake at 425 F for 18-20 minutes.

- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- pepperoni slices, olives, mushroom slices, or whatever you like on top of your pizza
