Typically cajun seasoning is a blend of paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, pepper and oregano. You can adjust each seasoning if you are making your own so that it’s more or less on the ingredients that you enjoy!

What do I need to make southern baked tilapia?

For this recipe you will need tilapia fillets and cajun seasoning. That’s it, that’s all. Nothing crazy or fancy happening here. You can use fresh filets or you can use frozen ones. Either way the recipe will come out pretty much the same.

How to make this easy cajun tilapia recipe:

Get ready to be blown away. This super simple process is quick and easy to follow. You will love how easy this recipe is to make because the end result is so flavorful!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, or spray with cooking spray to prevent the fish from sticking to it.

Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven.
