How to make this Happy Thanksgiving Bunting
Download and print my free printable Happy Thanksgiving Bunting. When you print–decide what size you’d like your banner to be. Some options:
- To fit a fireplace mantel (approximately 3 ft long), choose to print 4 to a page.
- To fit a wall (approximately 8 ft long), choose to print 2 to a page.
- If you want a gigantic bunting (maybe for an outdoor party), just print each page as is. It will be HUGE!
There is no need to print the cover page.
Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut out each flag. I just used scissors, and it didn’t take long at all!
Hang the triangles from a long piece of bakers twine or other string. Personally, I just use clear tape to attach the cardstock flags to the jute twine. It’s quick and easy, plus the kids can help!
Alternately, you can punch tiny holes in the top two corners of each flag and thread the twine through the holes. You can see an example of this in my Printable Halloween Bunting post.

While you can certainly print this paper bunting on regular printer paper, it will hold up better if you print on white cardstock. Then, you will be able to use and take down this Thanksgiving decoration to pack away for next year!
This free printable banner is 5 pages–but you don’t need to print the cover page.
