This easy recipe for the slow cooker is great for a dinner recipe or a side dish. You can even make this for a crowd. It’ll serve 4-6 as a main dish and about 8-20 as a side dish depending on the portion size!
Even though this recipe is made in the slow cooker it’s pretty fast. We’re using cooked noodles which speeds up the cooking time. You only need about an hour total for this one which makes it a suitable option even if it’s a busy weeknight.
Either line your crockpot with a liner, or spray with cooking spray.
Shred both of the cheeses.
Fill a large pot halfway with water and boil, then add noodles, boil for 6 minutes, and drain.
Toss the noodles with olive oil, then add to the crockpot.
Add milk and stir.
Add shredded cheeses and seasonings. Stir well to combine.
Arrange cubed butter on top of the macaroni mixture.
Cook on low for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and stir well.
Cook for another 10-15 minutes, stir and serve hot.

- 4 ounces gouda cheese (block)
